Podiatrist Dr. Katie Gusching is committed to understanding her patient’s needs while providing the utmost care and podiatric support.
As a foot doctor should, she believes healthy feet are crucial to a healthy life and she is eager to help alleviate your foot pathologies including foot and ankle wounds, injuries, deformities, and pains.
Recognizing that each patient’s needs are unique, she is dedicated to creating a treatment plan specialized to give each patient the highest chance for success.

About Our Podiatry Practice

Dr. Gusching has trained extensively in podiatric medicine and surgery, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, trauma, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, and wound care. She treats patients of all ages including children, receiving the Arthur J. Weissfield award for excellence in podopediatrics.

Dr. Gusching completed podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification at North Colorado Medical Center. She has also completed American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons courses in foot and ankle arthroscopy and reconstructive rearfoot surgery.

Dr. Gusching is a native of Grandville, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University receiving her BS in Human Biology. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University.

Dr. Gusching has also participated in the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project where she has had the opportunity to evaluate and surgically correct congenital deformities. Her experience has allowed her to provide exceptional comprehensive foot care, getting patients back on their feet and back to their daily routine as quickly as possible.

In her spare time, she enjoys staying active including playing soccer, hiking, cycling, and snowboarding. She can be seen running around town with her family. 

She’s an active member of the community volunteering at marathon races and educating the public on healthy feet at health fairs.
